Q & A
What happens when one of my reservation requests is found?
When a reservation is found for you, we will send an email and (if applicable) a text message to you. At that point you should try to access the Disney reservation system as soon as possible to get the reservation before it's gone. For some reservtions, there may be a decent amount of time to reserve your time. However, other reservations go extremely quick and you'll need to try to get to them as soon as you can.
While text messages are nearly instant, we also recommend using an email address that can deliver messages to you as soon the mail is received. For example, an email that is set to Auto Sync as soon as mail is received. Also, make sure that you can receive email from us. When you register, you should receive an email from us.
How long will it take to get a reservation opportunity?
That depends on when we can find one for you. Some could be right away. Others could take days or longer. We will keep looking all the way until your desired date/time has passed. Some of the harder to get reservations may not be found until your desired date is near, however, we still recommend getting your request in well before your desired date if possible.
Can I look for multiple reservations for the same place?
Yes, all you need to do is add the location to your cart again with with the different time and/or date options. So if, for example, you were open to trying to get a reservation two different days during your visit, you could try to get one for either day. In fact, having flexibility and doing this could increase your odds of getting a tough reservation.
Why can't I get the exact time I want?
Disney does not guarantee that you’ll be offered that time and as such, neither can MouseFoodie.com. If a time is found though, it would be somewhere near your requested time. These times are the one’s offered by Disney. However, we do have an option where we can restrict your found reservation to be within the selected hour if you want to be more selective about the result. For example, say you choose 6:30PM for a desired reservation time and select the option to restrict so that it will only select a result that has a time within that hour. MouseFoodie.com will do extra effort to look for a reservation that is between 6:00PM and 6:59PM and you’ll only get notified under those conditions.
What happens if I the reservation is gone by the time I try to get it?
These reservation opportunities are not reserved until you are actually able to access Disney's reservation system and secure it for yourself. If the reservation is taken by someone else before you get to it, your only recourse is to try again.
